Hello there. My name is Missy Tasky, and I am a veterinary entrepreneur, thought leader, and consultant with over 30 years of experience in the veterinary industry. My journey in veterinary medicine has been fueled by my passion for animals, innovation, and helping others succeed.

From founding and growing Gentle Touch Animal Hospital into a multi-million-dollar practice to mentoring veterinary professionals, I have dedicated my career to making a meaningful impact.

My professional highlights include establishing Gentle Touch Animal Hospital, where I focused on preventive care and client education. Under my leadership, the practice expanded from a single-doctor operation to a multi-doctor facility, culminating in its strategic sale at a remarkable valuation. I have also served as a veterinary consultant, where I have guided veterinary teams to improve profitability, patient care, and team cohesion. As CEO of MBM Partners, I have leveraged my expertise to navigate business acquisitions and mentor the next generation of veterinary leaders. My education from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and Virginia Tech laid the groundwork for my career, and I have continued to grow through my advocacy work with organizations like the Vet Care Coalition and Sierra Veterinary Medical Association. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with thought leaders within and beyond the veterinary industry to bring innovative ideas and solutions to my clients. These partnerships have helped me introduce cutting-edge strategies and foster meaningful change for my clients. As a speaker and writer, I enjoy sharing my insights at conferences and through publications to inspire and empower others in the field.
