Hello! I’m Brienna, a Talent Acquisition Specialist at VSS. With over 18 years of experience in creating and delivering outstanding people experiences, I’m passionate about connecting with veterinarians in a meaningful way.

My career started with 12 years in luxury retail, where I specialized in creating exceptional candidate experiences, teaching relationship-based selling, and driving sales for some of the world’s most iconic brands.

I later transitioned into human health care recruiting. I worked with a startup focused on global humanitarian aid and, utilizing many of the relationship skills I developed in luxury retail, helped match medical professionals with open positions around the world, and create seamless and effective practices, procedures & training programs for the startup.

My career in recruiting ultimately led me to where I feel I am meant to be…Veterinary Medicine!

For the past five years, I’ve worked as a Senior DVM Recruiter, and I love having real, organic conversations with veterinarians—going beyond surface-level chats— to understand what job candidates truly need in a workplace to support their career goals and personal well-being.

VSS’ approach to transforming the veterinary industry through care, relationships, and strategy aligns greatly with my own style. I’m a proud supporter of Not One More Vet (NOMV), and my mission is to help improve the veterinary field, one meaningful conversation at a time.

Outside of my day job, I’m the Founder and President of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to education and advocacy for shelter animals who are often overlooked due to unfair stigmas. In my free time, you’ll find me enjoying a good book, catching live music, traveling, vintage shopping, baking, watching horror movies, or spending time with my husband, son, and our two spoiled pit bulls in our delightfully haunted 1900s home!
